By Default MS Word2010 saves your documents in every 10 mins for auto-recovery. But some times its not that much helpful. Some people are really fast and can create a few pages in 10 minutes. But what to do if the computer crashes in those 10 minutes interval ? Your information is gone, but don't worry I gonna tell you that how you can change it to less than 10 minutes up-to a minimum of 1 minute.

You need to follow some simple steps:
  1. Open Microsoft Word 2010.
  2. Go to File menu and choose options

   3. It will open word options window.
   4. Choose Save from the left pane.
   5. Now change the minutes to whatever you want in Save AutoRecover information every -
   6. Click OK and you are done.
